Vacation Bible School – June 12-16, 2017, IC Parish 

Vacation Bible School is a week-long fun-filled experience that enhances your child’s faith formation.  Each day your child will experience the teachings of the various bible verses that will bring them to a closer understanding of Jesus and His life.  The children will participate in the many facets of their faith through the activities, games, and even snacks of each of those sites.  This program runs for a week in June and is for those children in pre-k through fourth grade; more details will be posted in the bulletin as each year brings a new and exciting adventure.  Ages 4y-Grade 4.

Extreme Faith Camp – June 12-16, 2017, Mason, WI

Extreme Faith Camp is a Catholic summer camp for middle school students! It is open to those who have completed 6th—8th grades by the summer. The camp is be led by an EXTREME TEAM of youth ministers, adults and senior high youth from participating parishes.  Training is required for the EXTREME TEAM.

Extreme Faith Camp is filled with rock climbing, high ropes course, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking, games, speakers, prayer and music. During the week you will build new friendships with other teens in small groups, service, daily prayer, Mass, adoration and confession.

National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) – November 16-19, 2017, Indianapolis, IN

The National Catholic Youth Conference is an exciting, biennial four-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. The schedule includes keynote addresses, concurrent and workshop sessions addressing a wide variety of topics. There are also opportunities for liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park.

Each NCYC has a specific overall theme that varies from conference to conference and through which the prayer experiences, theme song and other interactive venues within the conference.

The theme park is another major part of NCYC which flows from the overall theme. The thematic park is an interactive venue featuring a College Corner, Vocations Corner, arts and crafts activities, service projects, sports, games, music, and exhibits from Catholic and secular companies, organizations, and colleges.

Workcamp Mission Trip – July 8-16, 2017, Middleton, OH

Workcamp’s goal is to help the youth of our churches realize the miracles of God and the good he can do through them and others. To achieve this goal they provide services and friendships with people in need all across the United States and putting our Faith into action. Students leave New Richmond and travel to communities where service is needed for a week long trip over the summer.
